The Monarch School
The project entailed conversion of an existing 51,000 square feet warehouse building on a 2.2 acre site in downtown San Diego into a K-12 public school for homeless students. Completed in 2012, there are 31 classrooms, a gymnasium and various site amenities. Designed by Davy & Associates Architects, improvements totaled $14.8 million. Client The Monarch School retained B&G Consultants to perform preconstruction management services and project and construction management services.
