1 Mission in Mission Hills
1 Mission is a Gold Nugget Award (Pacific Coast Building Conference 2010)-winning mixed-use, five-story mid-rise in the heart of the Mission Hills neighborhood in San Diego, developed by CLB Partners (with Bob Lawrence / RS Lawrence Development, Inc.). Designed by M.W. Steele Group and built by Turner Construction, the project brings together the thorough restoration of a turn-of-the century commercial block and a new five-story residential building with 61 residences (114,000 square feet) and 5,150 retail square feet. The project features 13 two-story town homes with street-level entrances and 48 single-level flats. There are more than 30 different floor plans, ranging from one-bedroom/one-bath to three-bedroom/three-bath, and ranging in size from 1,057 square feet to 2,671 square feet. Total construction costs were $33.3 million. B&G Consultants provided construction contract development and construction project management services, and project completion was in 2009.
